Postapol

2018

It is an essay about Poland photographed as a postapocalyptic wastelands. I’ve tried to depict forgotten time and temporariness. Many places I’ve photographed are already gone or disappeared only to make a space for another ones. Driving through side roads and countrysides made me feel like I was a trespasser. I was really distrustful of the people I met on my way. They did not like me and I was a threat to them, just like in the wastelands.
